Jedi Keeve Trennis has been reunited with her former teacher, the troubled Trandoshan Sskeer, but all is not as it appears. Sskeer has been protecting a young Yacombe girl from a relentless Nihil hunter who has been abducting children with force abilities.
Now their number has grown with the arrival of the mysterious Tey Sirrek, a wanderer with deep connections to the Jedi of old and an ancient Sith artifact known only as the Hand of Siberus.
All is going well as Keeve and Sskeer introduce the Yacombe girl to the group, until the silent youngling sees the corpse of a recently killed Nameless and reacts with surprising power that can only come from the Force….
